The special relationships between man and nature, between art and landscape, are evident everywhere. Orvieto
| › The city of Orvieto, in symbiosis
with the tuff cliff on which it has been built, is an exceptional
example of deep integration between nature and men. Visiting this city is like crossing the history, because there are many stratified and concentrated traces of every age, from the Etruscan to the rinascimental and medieval period. |

La Scarzuola
| › It seems that in 1218 S. Francesco d’Assisi
lived here in a hut made of scarsa ( a palustrine plant from which
derives the name Scarzuola).
Today the Scarzuola is a charming place that has been transformed
by the Architect Tommaso Buzzi from Milan , who bought the convent
in 1957 in order to build his “ideal city”.

the heart of the Orcia valley: an evocative land with its hills
